Getting there. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. The Alibus shuttle leaves every 30 minutes for Naples central station (Stazione Centrale) and tickets cost 3 EUR. Metro station Piazza Cavour is 250 metres from the hotel, and Stazione Centrale is 700 metres away. A ticket for all Metro lines, valid for 90 minutes, costs 1 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Naples integrated metro, bus, and tram system is inexpensive and efficient. The summit of the Vomero hill can be reached by funicular railway. Driving a car is not recommended within the city centre. Trains from Stazione Centrale run to Sorrento and buses connect to many of the Amalfi Coast resorts. Daily passes covering all public transport within the city cost 3 EUR. Hydrofoils and ferries sail to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and the islands of Ischia and Capri from Naples Port (at the bottom of Piazza Municipio). A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
