Getting there. Fixed rate taxis run between the airport and towns across the island. Fares are approximately 30 EUR to the hotel. Pre paid tickets can be purchased from the taxi desk at Arrivals. Bus number 8 runs between the airport and Vallettas main bus terminus every 20 minutes. Then change to bus number 45 to Mellieha Bay. Price is subject to change.
Getting around. Mellieha offers a network of regional and local buses connecting to the rest of Malta and the main resorts. A day bus pass costs 1.50 MTL. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. Gozo is easily explored by bicycle, on foot, or on bus. High speed catamarans and ferries operate between Gozo and Malta (Valletta).
