Le Pavillon du Ch?teau Raba is a privately owned boutique hotel located in the heart of the prestigious Pessac L?ognan wine appellation just 5 km from the centre of Bordeaux. The building, a classified historic monument set in a centuries old parkland, has been entirely renovated in 2007 to offer calm, comfort and luxury to its privileged guests. The restoration has been accomplished with complete sympathy to the 19th century heritage retaining the original parquet floors, fireplaces and window openings onto the extensive parklands. Bedrooms and suites are all dedicated to local Grand Cru wines and have private marble bathrooms. A large open terrace situated on the first floor overlooks the ruins of the old 18th century Ch?teau Raba originally conceived and built by the architect Victor Louis who was also responsible for the Grand Th??tre de Bordeaux (Bordeaux?s renowned Opera House). Paul Bonnet our highly talented resident chef is on hand to prepare gourmet meals reflecting the very best of South West French cuisine.
