Distance to the Kenzi Menara Palace is 3 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.
Getting there. Two types of taxi are available at the airport: shared taxis (Grands Taxis) can seat six people, and private cabs (Petits Taxis) are for up to three passengers. The fare to the city centre should be approximately 50 MAD 60 MAD, and should be agreed in advance. The number 11 bus runs every 20 30 minutes to Djemma El Fnaa square, in the city centre. Services can be unreliable. The fare for a single journey is about 3 MAD. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Marrakech city centre is best explored by foot, as cars are unable to reach many of the narrow lanes in the Medina. Sand coloured Petits Taxis can be used for short trips, and Grand Taxis are ideal for trips further afield. Horse drawn carriages are a good way to travel around Marrakech, but the price should be agreed before travelling. Buses are regular and inexpensive, but can be overcrowded.
