Getting there. A free shuttle bus is available to the airport train station, which is 200 metres away from the terminal. A train runs every 30 minutes between Krakow Dworzec Glowny station and the airport from 4 a.m. to midnight. Tickets can be paid for on the train, with a single journey costing about 4 PLN and taking about 15 minutes. There are two bus services operating between the airport and Krakow city centre, leaving every 15 25 minutes and costing 3 PLN. Each piece of large luggage must have a separate ticket. All fares should be validated before boarding. Taxis wait outside the terminal and cost around 77 PLN to downtown Krakow. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Rickshaws, horse drawn carriages and electric carts transport visitors through Krakows historic city centre. Much of the city centre has been pedestrianised, while buses and trams navigate everywhere else. A one day travel pass costs 10 PLN; an adult single ticket is 2.50 PLN.
