Getting there. From the airport, a water taxi service operates directly to the hotel. A typical fare from the airport costs approximately 90 EUR, it is recommended that the fare be arranged prior to embarking. A shuttle bus runs to Piazzale Roma, from where Vaporetto lines 1 and 41 travel to the hotel. Alternatively, a water shuttle operates between the airport and Arsenale, 150 metres from the hotel. Getting around. Venice is a city of narrow alleys and bridges best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal.
