Location. The Monte Santo Resort is located in the Portuguese village of Carvoeiro, two kilometres from the bars, restaurants, and shops of the village centre, and two kilometres away from the local beach.
Hotel Features. Set two kilometres from the Algarve coast, the facilities at this secluded family friendly resort complex are surrounded by gardens, and lined with palm trees. The resort has six separate outdoor swimming pools, including a pool suitable for children. Spa services, a sauna, and fitness equipment are available for guests. From Faro Airport (FAO):
Distance to the Monte Santo Resort is 40 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes drive.

Getting there. Taxis wait outside the airport, and cost approximately 50 EUR to the resort. Buses depart regularly from outside the airport. Timetables are available at the airports information counter. The closest train station is Silves, which is 10 kilometres from the resort. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Faro is compact and easy to explore on foot. An inexpensive bus service operates throughout the city. A car is recommended for exploring the Algarve region. Privately run buses connect many of the major resorts.
