Location. The large adobe home, Estrella de Belem (Star of Bethlehem), is located in Cholula, Mexico. Near the Great Pyramid and Royal Chapel, the six bedroom bed and breakfast boasts two patios and limestone fountains.
Hotel Features. Nestled around a laurel tree and under a crystal pyramid is the Patio of the Talavera Fountain, where breakfasts are served each morning and wine is served each afternoon. Tiles from a Jesuit monastery in Puebla decorate the fountain. Accessible by a wooden footbridge is the Patio of the Lion Fountain, where a garden and seating area wait. This patio is accessed from the guestrooms and the library. A stairway accesses the resorts roof garden, with a spa tub, pool, wooden terrace and a small telescope. The resort offers spa services including massages, body treatments and facials, by appointment.
Guestrooms. High ceilings and clay floors decorate each guestroom. Amenities include LCD televisions and high speed wired and wireless Internet access. In room safes are available.
Expert Tip. An antique grand piano, positioned on the Patio of the Talavera Fountain, was once played by composers Agustin Lara and Pepe Guizar.
