Getting there. Taxis cost around 150 EUR to Hotel Eveline Portosole. Gare St Augustin is situated 500 metres from the airport and trains connect with Nice Gare Ville station. An hourly service runs to Sanremo train station taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Getting around. Sanremo is easily accessible on foot, however some streets in the old town are steep. Driving is not advisable in Sanremo centre. A hire car is very useful to explore the surrounding coastline and villages.
