Location. The Villa Apolefsi is set on top of the Caldera rim in Imerovigli on the island of Santorini, Greece, one kilometre from the capital Fira with its abundance of small tavernas serving fresh fish and local ouzo. The museum of prehistoric Thira is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. The airport is nine kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Villa Apolefsi is a traditional Cycladic building with white washed walls and blue shutters. Located on top of the Caldera rim, the hotel offers views over the sea and the volcano. Expert Tip. From the port of Fira, ferries operate to the island of Thirassia. The traditional village of Horia can be reached by a flight of steps from the landing place and gives an idea what Santorini might have been like before the arrival of tourism.
