Location. Grand Hotel Riva Del Sole is located four kilometres from the seaside resort of Giovinazzo, Italy. It lies 15 kilometres from the city of Bari and 30 kilometres from the historic town of Trani.
Hotel Features. This two storey hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court in its Mediterranean garden, and there is a private beach nearby. There is a childrens pool and, during the summer months, a kids club for 4 to 11 year olds. Organised day and evening entertainment is provided for adults. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer tour assistance and the use of a safe deposit box. The public areas have Internet access (surcharge) and complimentary newspapers are on offer in the lobby. There is complimentary parking.
Restaurant Sala Anna serves Italian specialities and international dishes in a contemporary setting. The Eolo e Austro Restaurant and the Guingette Pizzeria are open during the summer and feature sea views. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided.

Expert Tip. Built in 1240, the Castel del Monte stands on a hill overlooking a plain, 34 kilometres from the hotel. It is octagonal in shape, with an octagonal tower at each corner, and it affords excellent views across the surrounding countryside.
All guests staying between the 7th June and 13th September 2008 must purchase a Club Card. The Club Card entitles guests to use of the kids club (ages 4 11), beach service, morning and evening entertainment, the outdoor swimming pool, and parking.
Prices vary from �6 per day to �40 per week for adults and children over 12 years old, and �4 per day to �25 per week for children aged 5 12. All prices and dates are subject to change.
