Getting there. Bus F runs between the airport, Innsbruck city centre, and the Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The bus departs every 15 minutes and journey time is about 18 minutes. A single ticket costs 1.50 EUR. Change to bus C in the direction of Luigenstrasse. Get off at bus stop Amras Ort. Taxis wait in front of the terminal and the fare to Hotel Bierwirt is approximately 30 EUR. Transfers from the airport or from the train station can be organised by hotel staff (surcharge). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Innsbruck is easy to explore on foot. Trams and buses operate throughout the city. 24 hour, unlimited travel passes cost approximately 2.50 EUR. Driving private cars is not permitted within the Old City. There are taxi ranks throughout the city. There is a Hungerburg funicular railway that provides easy access to the mountains. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding areas.
