Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. The hotel can provide a private car transfer service, for a cost of around 55 EUR for two or three people. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Romes historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Metro station Manzoni, on line A, is 500 metres from the hotel. Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
Driving directions. From Fiumicino Airport, take the A91 towards Rome Centre.
As the road bends to the right, continue as it becomes Via Cristoforo Colombo and then continue on Viale delle Terme di Caracalla.
Turn left at Via dei Laterani and then turn right at Via dellAmba Aradam.
Continue on Piazza di Porta San Giovanni and on Viale Carlo Felice.
Take a slight left at Piazza di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, and continue straight onto Via Eleniana.
Turn left at Piazzale Labicano, and then turn right onto Via di Porta Maggiore, where the hotel is found.
