Location. Firenze Suite accommodation is located in Florence, Italy, approximately 400 metres from the cathedral and 500 metres from the Uffizi Gallery. Distance to Santa Maria Novella train station is 800 metres and Amerigo Vespucci Airport is eight kilometres.
Hotel Features. Divided between four historic properties, Firenze Suite offers a variety of suites and apartments within walking distance of the citys main sights. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the main building (limited hours) can arrange airport transfer, dining reservations, museum tickets, and guided excursions. Expert Tip. Next to the cathedral is Giottos famous square Campanile (bell tower). At nearly 85 metres (417 steps), the Campanile is not as high as Brunelleschis terracotta dome, but it nevertheless provides spectacular views of the city.

Getting there. Taxis are available from the arrivals hall and fares to the hotel cost approximately 20 EUR. The journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florences Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one day pass for Florences city buses. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.
