Getting there. The airports railway station is located below the terminal building on the basement level, and is accessible by elevator. Airport City Express trains leave every 10 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and midnight, and travel to Brussels three main stations. Single fares cost 2.60 EUR. From central Brussels, trains run regularly to Aalter station. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The town of Aalter is easily explored on foot. The train station connects the town to Brussels and the rest of Belgium. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
