Location. The Mary Arden Inn is located in the Warwickshire village of Wilmcote, England, opposite the house of Shakespeares mother Mary Arden. Wilmcote is two miles from the centre of Stratford upon Avon, home of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Wilmcote Railway Station is 200 metres from the Inn.

Distance to the Mary Arden Inn is 21 miles, approximately 35 minutes drive.
Getting there. A free Skyrail monorail runs every couple of minutes from Terminal 1 to Birminghams International train station and the citys National Exhibition Centre (NEC). Services run Wilmcote railway station, 200 metres from the inn. Black cabs are available 24 hours a day from an official rank in front of the airport passenger terminals. The fare to the Inn is around 50 GBP. Buses link the surrounding areas to the airport. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Wilmcote is compact and easily explored on foot. The railway station connects to Birmingham and Stratford and there are bus services throughout the surrounding area.
Driving directions. From Birmingham Airport, head first for the A45/Coventry road and then turn at the round about onto the M42.
Exit at Junction 3a onto the M40 towards London/Warwick/Stratford.
Exit at Junction 16 onto A3400/Stratford Road towards Henley and continue for nearly ten miles.
Turn right at Feathberd Lane toward Wilmcote and continue on the Station Road where the Mary Arden I nn is found.
