Distance to the Husa Guadalmedina is 8 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Getting there. Trains run between the airport train station and central Malaga station every 30 minutes. Trains also run along the coast to the Torremolinos and Fuengirola resorts. Tickets are approximately 2 EUR. The number 19 bus runs every 30 minutes to Malagas city bus terminal. Tickets cost 1 EUR. The Marbella bus runs to Marbellas city bus station every 45 minutes. Single tickets cost around 4 EUR. There is a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. Fares are approximately 15 EUR to Malaga, 20 EUR to Torremolinos, 55 EUR to Marbella, and 65 EUR to Puerto Banus. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Malagas main attractions are situated within the city centre and can be easily reached on foot. A cheap and extensive bus service is in operation in the city. The resorts of Marbella, Torremolinos, and Puerto Banus are also easy to explore on foot. Driving is not recommended in the town centres, however, hiring a car is useful for exploring the coast and locations further inland. There is limited transport between the resorts, which are quite far apart.
