Getting there. Located within the airport terminal is the Docklands Light Railway station (DLR), which departs regularly for Canning Town, 10 minutes, Canary Wharf, 14 minutes, and Bank, 22 minutes. At Canning Town, visitors should take the Jubilee line to connect to London Underground (Tube) services. Tickets cost 4 GBP for a single, but a one day travel pass is more economical and practical for multiple journeys. Take the central line to Stratford Station in zone 3. Then change to British Rail to Ilford Station. Alight at Ilford station, and walk left towards the Cranbrook Road shops. Take the first left to York Road. The York Hotel is about 100 yards on the right hand side. The airport is also served by local buses and London black taxis. Taxis cost approximately 10 GBP to the York Hotel.
