Distance to Hotel La Vecchia Palma is six kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.
Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. From the railway station in Catania, take any of the buses including numbers 429, 432, and 449, all of which stop in front of the hotel. Alternatively from Catania railway station take the underground and exit at Borgo station, close to the hotel. Taxis cost around 25 EUR to Catania and the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicilys larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
Driving directions. From the airport, continue along Stradale Primosole.

Turn right through Via Domenico Tempio.
At the roundabout on Piazza Borsellino take the first exit onto Via Cardinale Dusmet.
