Location. The Es Saadi Palace and Villas is located in Marrakech, Morocco, in an eight hectare park, 500 metres from the gates to the medina. The park is home to the Casino de Marrakech. Marrakech Menara Airport is five kilometres away.

Marble bathrooms have Moroccan style baths and separate showers, two lavatories, and hair dryers. Palace suites have balconies with views of the Atlas Mountains while villas have a garden and private heated swimming pool.

Expert Tip. Djemaa el Fna is a market square in the heart of Marrakechs medina, with snake charmers and water sellers by day and dancing and story telling in the evening.

From Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK):
Distance to Es Saadi is 5 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Getting there. Two types of taxi are available at the airport: shared taxis (Grands Taxis) can seat six people, and private cabs (Petits Taxis) are for up to three passengers. The fare to the city centre should be approximately 50 MAD 60 MAD and to Es Saadi around 100 MAD, and should be agreed in advance. The number 11 bus runs every 20 30 minutes to Djemma El Fnaa square, in the city centre. Services can be unreliable. The fare for a single journey is about 3 MAD. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Marrakech city centre is best explored by foot, as cars are unable to reach many of the narrow lanes in the medina. Sand coloured Petits Taxis can be used for short trips, and Grand Taxis are ideal for trips further afield. Horse drawn carriages are a good way to travel around Marrakech, but the price should be agreed before travelling. Buses are regular and inexpensive, but can be overcrowded.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs towards the centre.
On Avenue de la Menara, turn left onto Rue Ibrahim El Mazini where the entrance to the resort is found.
