Location. The Marina Hotel is located in Sliema, Malta, three kilometres from Valetta and eight kilometres from St Pauls Church. Buses and ferries depart opposite the hotel. Malta International Airport is seven kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Situated next to the Tigne seafront, the Marina Hotel is an eight storey property, accessible by lift. Amenities include a rooftop restaurant, sun terrace, spa tub, and Internet access (surcharge). Currency exchange is available at the 24 hour front desk where multilingual staff can assist with travel and tourist arrangements. Complimentary parking is available nearby. Guests receive complimentary entrance to a private beach.

With indoor and al fresco seating, Caff� Bottega serves French, Mediterranean, and local dishes, and vegetarian and childrens menus are available. The Rooftop Restaurant offers views of Valetta and the harbour, and serves Mediterranean and Maltese dishes. During the summer months, barbecues are held on the ninth floor terrace. Guests on the half board rate plan will not be charged for breakfast, and either lunch or dinner.

Expert Tip. Dating from the 17th century, St Pauls church is built over the grotto where the saint took refuge after being shipwrecked on Malta.

From Malta International Airport (MLA):
Distance to Marina Hotel is 7 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.

Getting there. Fixed rate taxis run between the airport and towns across the island. Fares are approximately 8.50 MTL to the hotel. Pre paid tickets can be purchased from the taxi desk at Arrivals. Bus number 8 runs between the airport and Vallettas main bus terminus every 20 minutes. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. A network of buses connects Malta to the main resorts. A day bus pass costs 1.50 MTL. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. Gozo is easily explored by bicycle, on foot, or on bus. High speed catamarans and ferries operate between Gozo and Malta (Valletta).
