Location. The Aquila Porto Rethymnon is located on the island of Crete in Rethymnon, Greece, adjacent to the beach and 300 metres from the old town.
Hotel Features. The six storey Aquila Porto Rethymnon is a modern hotel situated next to a sandy beach. Driving Directions:
From Heraklion Airport (HER):
Distance to Aquila Porto Rethymnon is 85 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes drive.

Getting there. Buses and taxis wait in front of the airport terminal building. Taxi fares to the hotel should be approximately 75 EUR, and the fare should be negotiated prior to travelling. Price subject to change.

Getting around. Crete is best explored by car. Buses are inexpensive and depart frequently for destinations throughout the island. Cretes bus company, KTEL, connects to the larger cities and more remote areas. Many of the villages can be accessed by boat taxis and small ferries. Taxis wait at ranks around Heraklion city centre. Fares are reasonable but travellers should ensure the meter is used.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the national road and follow signs for 80 kilometres in the direction of Rethymnon.
Upon reaching the city, follow signs to the centre.
Continue to the beach road and turn left.
Continue for approximately 3.5 kilometres, following signs for Aquila Porto Rethymnon.
