Location. The Hotel Club Baia di Tindari is located in Tindari, Sicily, Italy, 100 metres from the beach, three kilometres from the city centre, and ten kilometres from the Aeolian Islands.
Hotel Features. Set within a garden of pine and eucalyptus trees, this modern hotel complex extends to a private beach and has a swimming pool with a poolside bar, and a separate childrens pool. The spa has a sauna, spa tub, Turkish bath, and gym. Internet access is available, and parking is complimentary.
Club Tindari offers regional, Mediterranean, and international dishes from an extensive buffet, and has a terrace for al fresco dining. There is a weekly themed dinner. There is also a poolside pizzeria. The all inclusive rate includes buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (draught water and house wines). The half board rate includes buffet breakfast and dinner.
There are two tennis courts with nightlights, a football pitch, and a beach volleyball court on site. Archery and aerobics are also offered. Water sports include windsurfing, and canoeing.
Guestrooms. The 175 air conditioned guestrooms, suites, and apartments all extend to balconies or patios, and have contemporary decor with light wood furnishings. Amenities include satellite television, telephones, safes, and minibars. Bathrooms have showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. The hotel offers all inclusive and half board rates.
Expert Tip. Tindari Sanctuary is an ancient site where according to local folklore, the lagoon was created after a pilgrim who came to see the Madonna refused to pray to her because she was black. Legend tells the woman accidentally dropped her baby into the ocean, so the Madonna made the land rise to save the baby and the sands of Marinello have taken shape of the profile of the Madonna.
Fees:
A weekly Club Card is mandatory for all guests from the 25th May to the 3rd October. These are charged at 35 EUR per person per week for guests over three years old (free for children up to three). Guests spending a weekend only between the 25th May and the 28th September must purchase a weekend Club Card for 6 EUR per person per week for guests over three years old (free for children up to three). These fees are not included in the rates and are payable locally.
