Getting there. Trains run every 20 60 minutes from the airport to Palermos central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.65 EUR. Getting around. Palermo city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city and the surrounding areas are served by a network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.
