Getting there. Taxis and private hire car are the best way to get to Akti Olous; a taxi will typically cost 70 EUR to the hotel. Price is subject to change.
Getting around. Elounda and the nearby beaches can be explored on foot. The rest of Crete is best negotiated by car. Buses are inexpensive and depart frequently for destinations throughout the island. Cretes bus company KTEL connects to the larger cities and more remote areas. Many of the villages can be accessed by boat taxis and small ferries.
