Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. From Pizzale Roma, take either waterbus no 82 or no 1 to the Rialto stop, 200 metres away. Alternatively, a free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for St Marks Square 600 metres from Palazzo Bragadin Carabba. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel.
