Location. The Hotel Dolce Vita is located in Bodenmais, Germany, two kilometres from the centre of Bayerischer Wald village. The Czech border is 10 kilometres from the hotel. The nearest train station is two kilometres away.

From Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC):
Distance to Hotel Dolce Vita is 179 kilometres, approximately 120 minutes drive.

Getting there. The airports train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 and S1 S Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes for Munichs main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. The Lufthansa Airport bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes, and the single fare is 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost around 55 EUR 65 EUR. From Munich railway station, trains connect to Bodenmais via Deggendorf and Zwiesel, from where a free shuttle transfers to the hotel. The hotel offers airport transfer at a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Bodenmais is a small historic village and can be easily explored on foot. The surrounding countryside of Bayerischer Wald has many walking and cycling trails. For excursions further afield, public transport or car rental are the best options. Excursions into Czech Republic are recommended; Prague is 100 km from the hotel.
