Decorated and furnished in a period style refreshed by chic contemporary aspects, the 33 guestrooms are air conditioned, and include satellite television, wireless Internet access, minibars, safes, and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms are clad in coloured marble, and include hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. In addition to standard rooms, family rooms and suites are available, with sitting rooms in both, and second bathrooms in the suites.

Expert Tip. Just along the street from the hotel, at 8 Via Delle Muratte, is a bakers (forno) of considerable repute. Claimed in some quarters to be the oldest in Rome, it has made fine bread, cakes, and pastries for over two centuries, with its filled rolls reportedly being especially good.

Driving Directions:
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Boutique Hotel Trevi is 35 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes drive.

Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. From Termini, take metro line B and get off at Barberini or Spagna, both of which are approximately 600 metres from the hotel. Walk, following signs for Fontana di Trevi. Taxis to the hotel cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Romes historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. Prices are all subject to change.

Driving directions. Depart Fiumicino Airport, crossing the GRA ring road, direction city centre.
Continue to Viale Marconi and turn right into Via Volpato.
Head towards Via Portuense.
After two kilometres, turn right into Viale Trastevere.
Cross the river on Ponte Garibaldi and take Lungotevere, direction Aracoeli.
Turn left in Piazza di Aracoeli into Via del Teatro di Marcello and head straight towards Piazza Venezia.
Turn right and take Via IV Novembre.
Turn left into Via Pillotta.
After 100 metres, take Via Lucchesi and turn left into Largo di Brazza.
Take Via dell Umilta and turn right after 70 metres.
