Location. The Montinho de Ouro complex is located in the resort of Praia da Luz, Portugal, two kilometres from the shops and beaches of the resort centre, and six kilometres from Lagos.
Hotel Features. This modern apartment and hotel complex is set amid gardens planted with palm and cork trees. Amenities include an outdoor pool with a separate childrens pool, and a massage treatment room. The Montinho de Ouro resort also features a games room and a shop, and offers public Internet access (surcharge). Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.

Expert Tip. Praia da Luz beach, two kilometres away, has a sandy half and rocky half. The cliff by the beach was formed by a meteorite, and offers a panoramic viewpoint.

Driving Directions:
From Faro Airport (FAO):
Distance to Montinho de Ouro is 80 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes drive.

Getting there. Taxis wait outside the airport, and cost approximately 80 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The local area can be explored on foot or by bicycle. A car is recommended for exploring the Algarve region. Private bus services connect many of the major resorts.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the A22 motorway to Portimao/Lagos.
Exit towards Lagos/Vila do Bispo.
At the second roundabout, exit onto the EN 125 for Vila do Bispo/Sagres.
Continue through the traffic lights, passing Espiche village on the right.
At the second traffic lights, turn right, going back in the opposite direction.
Continue for 700 metres and turn right at the sign for Montinhos da Luz.
Continue for 400 metres.
Montinho de Ouro is on the right hand side.
