Location. The Tamassa hotel is located in Bel Ombre, on the southwest coast of Mauritius, 12 kilometres from the town of Souillac.
Hotel Features. Opened in 2007, the three storey Tamassa hotel is built in colonial style. The spa has 16 treatment rooms, a whirlpool, sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy room. There is a hair salon offering beauty services. The hotel has a lounge bar and a nightclub. The teens club has games machines, a pool table, and table football, and organised activities. The kids club, for 3 to 12 year olds, has a dining room, a sandpit and a rest room, and is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The public areas have wireless Internet access. The Tamassas main restaurant serves regional specialities and international dishes in a contemporary setting. The beach restaurant and bar serves Mediterranean food. An 18 hole championship golf course can be found next to the Tamassa hotel.
