Getting around. Leeds city centre can be explored easily by foot, and free buses are available within the city centre. A network of local buses is in place for Bradford. Leeds station has trains running to destinations in West Yorkshire. These include Wakefield, Sheffield, Huddersfield, and York. A national network is also available. Hiring a car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside.
