Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Take this train and alight at Chatelet. From here take the metro line 6 to Trocadero, 100 metres from the hotel. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de lOpera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Getting around. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the citys sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
