Distance to the Marshal Hotel is 16 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes drive.
Getting there. The number 783 express bus runs from the front of the airport to the city centre every 15 minutes. Tickets for two journeys cost 4.50 RON, and are available from kiosks outside arrivals. Get off at Universitatii Square and walk on Batistei Street to the hotel. Yellow taxis wait in front of the terminal and cost about 40 RON to the city centre. The fare should be negotiated prior to travelling. The hotel can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Bucharests inexpensive public transport system includes trams, buses, a metro, and trolleybuses. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding, and can be used for all modes of public transport.
