Distance to The Royal Hotel is 57 miles, approximately 75 minutes drive.
Getting there. Blairgowrie is most easily reached by car, but an express bus or shuttle will take you straight from the airport to Edinburgh Waverley Station. From here you can reach Dundee in around one hour and 15 minutes by train, and continue by bus to Blairgowrie. It is also less than an hour from Rosyth, a port with ferries to Zeebrugge.
Getting around. Blairgowrie is largely accessible on foot, and has its own walking festival. Local bus services can put you down at trails for more adventurous walks.
Driving directions. Head southeast out of the airport following directions to the A8.
Follow the A8 for about a mile, then merge onto the M9, heading West.
At junction 1a exit toward the A90 and continue until junction 11.
Exit onto the A85 toward Perth and continue to the A93.
Take the A93 into Blairgowrie.
