Getting there. The number 757 bus runs between the airport and Leeds city centre bus and train stations every 30 minutes. The number 737 runs to the central Bradford transport interchange (trains and buses) every hour. Single tickets cost 2 GBP. Trains run to Scarborough. There are taxis outside the terminal, costing approximately 14 GBP to Bradford, 18 GBP to Leeds and 25 GBP to Scarborough. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The centre of Scarborough is compact enough to explore on foot. Local buses run throughout the city and surrounding areas. Hiring a car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs to York and East Coast on the A64.
Continue for 33 miles.
Do not enter York, but follow signs instead to Scarborough on the A64.
Upon entering Scarborough, turn right at the first small roundabout.
At the next small roundabout, turn left and carry on down the hill for 400 yards.
Just before the Valley Bridge, turn right and then immediately right again onto Belmont Road.
Continue to the Cliff Top.
