Getting there. A bus departs from Catania airport and stops 300 metres from Hotel Panorama. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 50 EUR to Syracuse. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicilys larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. Buses run throughout Syracuse. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
