Location. Kapok International Hotel is located on a tree lined street between the Wangfujing shopping district and the Forbidden City in the heart of Beijing; Tiananmen Square and the train station are also nearby.
Hotel Features. Opened in 2006, the Kapok International is known by locals as The Blur for its glowing fiberglass exterior. A white reception area surrounds a central courtyard filled with bamboo. The hotel houses a small fitness center, sauna and business center. The Shuxiangmendi Restaurant serves Western fare, the Library Bar features a relaxed ambience amid a collection of Chinese books, and the Meet Bar offers beverages and cigars.
