Location. Set on the shores of Rheinsberger Lake, IFA Hafendorf Rheinsberg Resort Spa & Tagungen is situated on the southern tip of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) is 90 kilometres away and takes around 130 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests are offered use of the wellness centre, equipped with a swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa tub. Drinks are served in the Seaport Bar. Live music is played on the lakeside sun terrace and there is a nightclub. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can assist with room service requests and book excursions.

IFA Hotel Hafendorf Rheinsberg offers guests a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. The restaurant serves buffet and � la carte dishes and extends to a terrace overlooking the lake.

The hotel runs an IFA Duckling Club for children.

Guestrooms. There are 114 guestrooms located on five floors, all of which extend to balconies and include flatscreen satellite televisions, dial up Internet connections, minibars and safes. Bathrooms have showers, hair dryers and bathrobes. Suites feature private jetties and separate sleeping galleries.

More than one thousand lakes, large and small, are connected to each other by rivers and canals and cover an area of 117 square kilometres. Rheinsberg Lakes can be explored either by canoe or by rowing boat. The lakeside area can be explored by bicycle (available to hire at the hotel).

Driving Directions:
Getting there. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal on the lower level. The 109 airport bus connects to Zoologischer Garten station on the U Bahn (underground system). The X9 is a faster express airport shuttle bus connecting central Berlin, the Zoologischer Garten U Bahn station and Berlins main train station. From here trains connect to Rheinsberg station, which is 3 kilometres from the hotel. All buses depart from the upper level. Tickets must be validated in the machine before use.

Driving directions. From Berlin, follow the A100 in the direction of Hamburg, Tegel and Weddingen. At the Charlottenburg interchange take the A111 in the direction of Hamburg and Reinickendorf. The next interchange is Oranienburg, and from here change to the A10 in the direction of Hamburg, Rostock and Kremmen. Leave the A24 at the Neuruppin exit and continue in the direction of Rheinsberg. Once in Rheinsberg follow the main road in the direction of Zechliner Hutte. The hotel can be found on the left, 500 metres out of town.
