Location. The Poggio alla Sala Resort and Spa is located in Tuscany, Italy, 10 kilometres from Montepulciano, 12 kilometres from Montepulciano Lake, and 50 kilometres from Siena.

Driving Directions:
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Poggio alla Sala Resort and Spa is 170 kilometres, approximately 120 minutes drive.

Getting there. Car rental is recommended, otherwise a train runs from Rome to Chiusi, ten kilometres from the hotel, from where taxis are available. A taxi from the airport is not recommended, as it would be highly expensive.

Getting around. The immediate area can be explored on foot, but a car is recommended for exploring the wider countryside. Otherwise, bike rental is available, and Chiusi station offers rail services to major cities.

Driving directions. From Rome take the highway A1 toward Florence.
Exit at Chiusi Chianciano Terme.
Turn right towards Chiusi and follow the road for approximately 2.5km.
Turn left toward Siena on the Sp326 and, after about six kilometres, turn left on the Sp30 toward Chianciano.
Follow this road for about two kilometres and then take the dirt road on the right and drive up the hill to the hotel.
