Location. Hotel Fourati Hammamet is a series of three storey whitewashed blocks with Arabic styling set in gardens by the beach, four kilometres from the town of Hammamet. Medina Hammamet is four kilometres from the hotel, and Yasmine Golf Course is six kilometres away. Tunis Carthage Airport (TUN) is 60 kilometres distance, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features.There are two outdoor swimming pools set in the landscaped gardens, with a poolside bar and sun loungers. Other facilities include an indoor pool, a kids club and a childrens swimming pool. An organised programme of entertainment is offered, and the hotel has a private beach with water sports available.
Restaurant Fourati serves Tunisian specialities and French dishes, and the Barbecue Pizzeria offers pizza and barbecue on the beach in summer. There is also a Snack Bar which serves light lunches in the garden.
Guestrooms.The 400 guestrooms, over three floors, have light decor, functional furnishings and balconies. Expert Tip. Be sure to explore the Medina (old town and market) in Hammamet it is surrounded by walls dating from around 1500. When buying anything, be ready to bargain.
