Location. Set in 178 acres of countryside, Arenella Resort is situated 250 metres from a four kilometre stretch of beach and 10 kilometres from the ancient city of Syracuse. Catania Airport is 75 kilometres away and takes around 60 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. The resort is situated 250 500 metres from three beaches that can be reached on foot or by a complimentary shuttle bus. There are also two outdoor pools (seasonal) and a poolside bar, as well as two further bars and a juice bar. Guests can make use of the gym, steam room, sauna, spa tub and massage and beauty treatment rooms. Multilingual staff can arrange sightseeing tours around the island and also run childrens clubs and organise daytime and evening entertainment programmes (seasonal).
Guests of Arenella Resort enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, and half board guests are also offered a complimentary three course dinner each evening (drinks excluded). Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in Central Restaurant, where Mediterranean and local dishes are served to diners seated indoors and outside on the terrace overlooking the gardens.
The resort runs childrens clubs including a Baby club (three six), a Mini club (six 12), and a Maxi Club (12 17). Multilingual staff organise some sports and activities for all guests (29 April to 27 May), and a more comprehensive daytime and evening entertainment programme including games, tournaments, music, dancing and watersports from 25 May to 28 September. From 25 May guests are required to purchase a Club Card for access to child club activities, beach services, recreational and sports activities. Guestrooms. The 460 air conditioned guestrooms and villas feature simple modern decor with tiled floors and extend to furnished balconies or terraces. Amenities include satellite television, direct dial phones, minibars, refrigerators, safes, and bathrooms with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
