Location. Le Pavillon du Golf is designed around 17 lakes on the edge of a golf course in La Palmeraie, on the outskirts of Marrakech. The green spaces of the suburbs are 10km from central Marrakech and its famous Medina.
Hotel Features. Le Pavillon du Golf is richly decorated in Moorish intricate designs with large archways and low opulent furnishings. Guests can swim in the open air overlooking a lake, play golf, or enjoy the beauty centre with sauna, hammam and beauty treatments.
The two Michelin star restaurant, Dar Ennassim, serves traditional Moroccan and international dishes. It caters for vegetarian and childrens diets and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool includes bar service.
Le Pavillon du Golf has a business centre with conference rooms to cater for groups between 200 and 1500 delegates.
Golfers can take to the golf course and there is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. For relaxing treatments, the sauna, spa and hammam offer a retreat and there is a kids club on site to keep the children happy. Close by, scooters, bikes and horses can be hired to explore the countryside.
Guestrooms. Le Pavillon du Golf offers a range of suites which all feature a minibar, fireplace and balcony or terrace. Each has its own separate living area and is sumptuously decorated in a colourful mix of contemporary and Moroccan design. Satellite television, hair dryers, Internet access and toiletries are complimentary.
Expert Tip. For a trip out of town to see how the locals live, rent a car with a driver for about 70 EUR and head to the Ourika Valley. Along the way are numerous Berber markets and an old Berber synagogue.

From Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK):
Distance to Le Pavillon du Golf is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive.
Getting there. Two types of taxi are available at the airport: shared taxis (Grands Taxis) can seat six people, and private cabs (Petits Taxis) for up to three passengers. The fare to the city centre should be approximately 50 60 MAD, and should be agreed in advance. The number 11 bus runs every 20 30 minutes to Djemma El Fnaa square, in the city centre. Services can be unreliable. The fare for a single journey is about 3 MAD. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Marrakech city centre is best explored by foot, as cars are unable to reach many of the narrow lanes in the Medina. Sand coloured Petits Taxis can be used for short trips, and Grand Taxis are ideal for trips further afield. Horse drawn carriages are a good way to travel around Marrakech, but the price should be agreed before travelling. Buses are regular and inexpensive, but can be overcrowded.
