Location. The Terre Resort & Spa is located in the Palmeraie desert, Morocco within 10 kilometres of the bustling souks (markets) of the ancient city of Marrakech. The desert provides many activities and a trip to the Atlas Mountains for skiing or hiking is 60 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Terre Resort & Spa is a luxury hotel comprising several complexes of octagonal style mansions and old Moroccan architecture rebuilt in a modern palm oasis. The Sanctuary Spa offers a comprehensive range of massages and treatments.
The Terre Resort has two restaurants serving Cuban and Moroccan dishes with an extensive wine list. A buffet breakfast is complimentary and served daily.
Conference and banqueting rooms are available, with audio visual presentation equipment. Wireless Internet is available throughout the resort.
There is an onsite swimming pool, a clay tennis court, a golf putting range and a playground. An 18 hole golf course, horse and camel riding and quad biking are all within 10 kilometres of the resort. This is an ideal location for bird watching as migrating birds flock to this corner of Africa.
Guestrooms. The 52 octagonal suites or oaids of the Terre Resort & Spa reflect traditional Arab architecture with arched doorways and are furnished in reds and dark woods. The larger suites have separate dining and study areas as well as modern bathrooms with complimentary designer toiletries. All suites have an entertainment system and include minibars, safes, and bathrobes.
Expert Tip. Hot air ballooning over the High Atlas mountains can be enjoyed from a launch in the Palmeraie desert. In Marrakech, the traditional market or souk is the largest in Morocco and the main square Djemaa el Fna is the busiest in Africa.
