Set in lush gardens right on Sliema waterfront, the Fortina Hotel is an All Inclusive resort hotel offering extensive spa services. The shops and cruise departure points in Sliema harbour are 400 metres away and the hotel is five kilometres from Valletta, Maltas walled capital city. Malta International Airport is eight kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 10 minutes. This seven floor property features 190 air conditioned guestrooms decorated in shades of cream and blue with maple wood furnishings and private balconies overlooking the gardens, or the city walls and the sea. Amenities include satellite TV, high speed Internet access, direct dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities and minibars restocked daily with complimentary wine, beer, water and soft drinks.
Guests of the Fortina Hotel can dine in the main buffet restaurant (all inclusive) and enjoy table dh�te menus in four � la carte restaurants offering cuisine from China and Thailand, Italy, India, France and the Mediterranean. The hotel has four bars, including the cocktail bar which hosts live entertainment and dancing every evening. The four outdoor pools offer a complimentary sun bed and towel service as well as a spa tub; two of the saltwater swimming pools are situated right on the waters edge and offer views of the of Valletta, and one has a swim up bar. There is also a pool and spa tub for children. The onsite Spa Centre offers a vast range of treatments and therapies including thalassotherapy, Thai and Chinese massages, Cleopatra milk baths, Turkish mud baths, light therapy, wraps, scrubs and a wealth of other beauty therapies (surcharges apply). Those feeling active can head to the fitness centre which offers a gym, aerobics, two pools and spa tub. The concentrated heated seawater pool has a high level of healing salt and minerals. Active guests can play mini golf, or take part in pilates and yoga classes at the spa centre for individual or group sessions (surcharge applies). The hotel organizes scuba diving excursions, instruction and supervised dives (surcharge applies).
