Driving Directions:
Buses run from the airport to Naples train station and the port (Piazza Municipio) and also to Sorrento. The bus to Amalfi departs from Piazza Muncipio. Taxis are also available from the airport. From the port, hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri. Salerno is the nearest train station, 25 kilometres away and a bus connects to Amalfi from SS Martiri Salernitani. Amalfi is best explored on foot. Buses serve the local area or a hire car would be useful for trips along the coast and exploring inland.
Driving directions: From Rome or Naples, follow directions for the A3 motorway and Salerno. On the A3 take junction Vietri sul Mare, follow signs for Amalfi and follow the famous Amalfi coast route. At approximately 100 metres before the city centre the Hotel Marina Riviera is on the right right hand side. Approximate journey time from Rome is 210 minutes, from Naples 90 minutes.
