Terra Nostra Garden Hotel is a three floor, Art Deco hotel built in 1935 in the spectacular Furnas Valley, adjacent to 12 acres of botanical gardens and seven kilometres from Fogo beach and fishing village. The hotels 81 guestrooms are decorated in an Art Deco style with contemporary light wood furniture and colourful fabrics. Driving Directions:
Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport. A typical taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is approximately 35 EUR.
Driving directions: From the airport follow the signs Ribeira Grande /Furnas until the exit for Ponta Delgada Ribeira Grande, crossing the centre of the island. Before arriving at Ribeira Grande you arrive at a roundabout with a modern stone monument. Follow signs to Furnas, continue past Ribeira Grande along the north coast. Pass two tea factories, and shortly after the tea factory Gorreana turn right, following signs to Furnas. Drive past the golf course on the right and continue until Furnas. Follow the road to the intersection with a church on the left and Tonys Restaurant opposite. Turn right and continue. After a few hundred metres, the road turns left past several parks and gardens. At the next crossing turn left and after 150 metres the hotel is on the right.
