The Downtown Hotel is a modern hotel housed in a shopping and entertainment complex in the centre of Gozos capital, adjacent to the sports centre and 750 metres from the citys historic citadel. The Gozo Sports Complex is located next door to the hotel and offers facilities for tennis and squash. The Ggantija Temples, which date back to 3600 BC, are four kilometres from the hotel. Malta International Airport is 25 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 75 minutes.

Driving Directions:
There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers Hall, where pre paid tickets may be purchased. Alternatively, bus no. 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta and leaves from a bus stop outside the check in hall. Guests should travel to the Cirkewwa landing place, take the ferry to Gozo and then a bus or taxi to Victoria. Alternatively, a helicopter from the airport to Gozo Heliport takes 20 minutes and a taxi from there to Victoria takes 10 minutes.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the signs to Gozo. Take the ferry from Cirkewwa, landing at Mgarr in Gozo. From Mgarr follow the signs to Victoria.
