Trains run from the airports TGV station and serve many national French destinations. A taxi rank is located in front of Terminal One, level one and a taxi desk is also located on level one in the central hall. A single fare to the hotel will cost approximately 50 EUR. For Lyon city centre, the airport shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes departing from bus stop number one; a return ticket costs around 15 EUR. Disembark at Grange Blanche station, and then catch the metro to Valmy station which is 100 metres from the hotel. A four line metro system and over 85 bus lines service Lyon its surroundings. Tickets for both systems are obtained at city kiosks, the train stations, vending machines and from bus drivers. Lyon is also great to explore on foot; Rue Victor Hugo and Rue de la Republique traverse the central city and extend across the Saone River into Vieux Lyon.
