The Cotton Bay Hotel is a tropical resort complex set on a white sandy beach by the Indian Ocean, 11 kilometres from the capital, Port Mathurin, and 21 kilometres from the airport. The 48 air conditioned, bungalow style guestrooms open onto balconies with ocean views and feature bright, tropical decor and mahogany furniture. Caverne Patate, a cave renowned for its unusual geological formations, is 15 kilometres from the hotel. Plaine Corail Airport is 21 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
