The Hotel Jungfrau is a traditional chalet style Alpine hotel with doorstep skiing and scenic views of the Eiger, Schilthorn and Jungfrau mountains. The 29 guestrooms are wood panelled, with grey and rose decor and blue carpeting. All are equipped with satellite television, telephones and desks.
The Gruebi restaurant serves local dishes prepared using fresh market produce, with speciality fondue and raclette evenings, while the Igloo Bar is a modern glass building with heated seating, offering views of the surrounding mountains. After a day spent hiking or skiing, guests can head to the lounge to unwind and warm up by the open fire. Fitness enthusiasts can benefit from discounted access to the resort centres health club, within 300 metres of the hotel. Ski equipment can be stored on site, and the hotel offers ski in/ski out facilities. At 1,650 metres, Muerren is the highest resort in the Bernese Alps, facing the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. The resort is surrounded by 53 kilometres of varied ski runs, with the Muerren Schilthorn area located 200 metres from the guesthouse. Snow machines guarantee snow cover between December and April. Downhill skiing, cross country, walking, tobogganing, and curling are available, whilst a ski school can be found in the resort. The picturesque village, 300 metres from the hotel, has a bakery and traditional Alpine architecture. Zurich and Geneva airports are both 200 kilometres away, approximately 120 minutes by car.

Driving Directions:
Taxis are available from outside the airports. Alternatively, regular trains run to BLM Muerren, 500 metres from the hotel.
Driving directions: Drive on the A1 to Berne and take the A6/A8 towards Interlaken. Take the Wilderswil exit, turn right and drive through the village of Wilderswil. Continue towards Lauterbrunnen. Leave the car at the car park and take the funicular BLM a return ticket will cost approximately CHF 18.
